Police are carrying out investigations into an incident where a fine bag containing cannabis was thrown out of a vehicle they were following.
The incident occurred on Friday 6 September, 2013, at Springs, St. George, where the driver of an Escudo van carrying two men was signalled to stop by the members of the Drug Squad; however, the driver refused to do so.
The officers followed the vehicle and a fine bag was thrown out of it. The bag was retrieved and it contained twenty five pounds of Cannabis, which carries an estimated street value of fifty-six thousand seven hundred dollars ($56,700.00).
However, no one has yet been arrested and charged.
