This year, Grenadians will be treated to a unique Independence experience as the Ministry of Economic Development, Planning, Trade and Cooperatives in conjunction with Grenada Industrial Development Corporation, (GIDC) Private Sector representatives host the Made in Grenada Expo.
The two (2) day event, which will be held at The Grenada National Stadium, St. George’s, will run from 11 am–7 pm on Friday, 7 February, and 10 am–7 pm on Saturday, 8 February 2014.
The Expo will showcase authentic Grenadians products ranging from aromatherapy products, drinks, craft items, paints, jams, graphic designs, water, furniture, doors and painting. The Expo provides an opportunity for manufacturers to foster relationships with potential clients, increase sales and receive customer feedback.
The Expo was officially launched in 2013 by Hon Oliver Joseph, Minister of Economic Development, Planning Trade and Cooperatives.
There will be live performances from pan orchestras and other local performers with refreshments on sale. It promises to be a wonderful event.
The Expo starts immediately after the Independence Military Parade and Cultural Display and patrons are therefore encouraged to visit the expo immediately following the Independence Military Parade and Cultural Display. The General public is encouraged to “Support local” and buy “Made in Grenada”.
