The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) COMMENDS the people of Grenada for their outstanding support to date, for the Dominica Relief Effort.
The Staff and volunteers at the Agency, and at the Wesley Hall building are currently working tirelessly sorting and packing food items, toiletries, water and lining in preparation for delivery to the Real Value IGA Warehouse, where the items will be packed into a 40 foot container.
The Government and People of Grenada express gratitude to the management and staff of the Real Value IGA Super Market, who has graciously agreed to sponsor the packing and shipping of the Container to Dominica.
For the rest of today, persons can still drop off supplies at NaDMA’s Headquarters at Richmond Hill, Wesley Hall building on Lucas Street, and all participating Supermarkets.
Collection of supplies closes at the end of today, Wednesday, for loading on the GEEST Line scheduled to leave Grenada on Sunday, 6 September and arrive at Dominica on Tuesday, 8 September 2015.
However, persons can continue to make monetary donations to the “Dominica Relief” account at the Grenada Cooperative Bank account number #121004900.
Please be reminded that official advisories on all disaster related matters will come directly from the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA).
