The Ministry of Health hereby announces the resumption of out-patient eye clinics at the General Hospital.
Clinics have resumed as of Monday, 12 October 2015, at the newly refurbished Eye Ward (the old Eye Ward) which is the first building directly after the laboratory on entry to the hospital’s compound.
The Ministry expresses its sincerest thanks and appreciation to all out-patients and the general public for its understanding and cooperation during the recent interruption.
The Ministry notes that the quick restoration/resumption of the out-patient ophthalmology service is in keeping with its promise to the public last week.
The newly refurbished Eye Ward (the old Eye Ward) was restored as part of the ongoing redevelopment works (Phase 2) of the General Hospital project.
