From 6pm, Quarantine Point will come alive as patrons bearing electric candles will be treated to a special Christmas concert, directed by award-winning playwright, Francis Urias Peters. The show will feature a number top Grenadian artistes & performers; Randal Robinson, Jay & Lisa McDonald, Zeleka Peters, Emily Rapier, Jonathan James, Jenny J, Rita Smith, Inspector as well as the Police Band and Touch of Grace. Ms Alana Wilson, Public Relations Officer for the Rotary Club of Grenada, noted the importance of this community event, “Christmas is often referred to as the time for family, friends and community. Carols by Candlelight offers a truly family-oriented programme in keeping with the spirit of the season. Additionally, all funds raised from sales at the event will be used to maintain and upgrade Quarantine Point Community Park, which is available for public use” she commented.

In addition to the above mentioned concert and movie, this year’s event will also feature a photo booth to capture fun moments, and a bonfire for roasting of S’Mores, plus specialty foods and a fully stocked bar.
