The Royal Grenada Police Force has observed that persons after having their vehicles inspected are outfitting them contrary to the law.
The RGPF is concerned about this practice and is advising all concern to reverse their action and those thinking of doing so to refrain from such act as it is illegal.
Illegal outfitting includes but is not limited to rims that are extended, coloured headlamps, unauthorized silencers, additional lamps, lights and horns.
Persons are also reminded that tint should not be darker than the law permits, and that amplified sound must not be greater than 20 watts.
The RGPF warns persons contravening the Road Traffic Act and the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Regulations that they will be made to answer to the law.
