The Office of the Integrity Commission in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Department of Public Administration is hosting a workshop on “Anti-Corruption and Good Governance” under the theme Visionary Leadership in the Management of Anti-Corruption from 19 to 23 September 2016.
The Key Presenter for the Workshop is Dr Roger Koranteng, Governance and Anti-Corruption Advisor, Public Sector Governance Unit with the Commonwealth Secretariat, London, England.
Target participants include: Policy Makers, Senior Managers from key ministries/departments/agencies/bodies, the Attorney General and Director of Public Prosecutions’ Chambers, the Royal Grenada Police Force and Civil Society.
The objectives of the workshop are:
- Drafting of a procedure for collaboration with other local Anti-Corruption Bodies.
- The identification of professionals with enhanced knowledge, pertaining to addressing Anti-Corruption issues in Public Life;
- The preparation of material which would assist in the drafting of a National Strategic Plan on Anti-Corruption and Anti-Corruption Practices.
The workshop ends with a Closing Ceremony on Friday, 23 September 2016.
