The Ministry of Social Development and Housing in undertaking a pilot to test payment of SEED Grants at District Revenue Offices. SEED is the Support for Education Empowerment and Development project.Â
SEED Beneficiaries are notified that payments of SEED grants will be made from Thursday 27 April, at the District Revenue Offices around the island.
Beneficiaries from St Andrew and St George who submitted their account numbers should contact their SEED officer for information regarding their payment this month.
Beneficiaries who wish to be paid through a financial institution should ensure that their account is active and their account number is accurate.
For the month of April, 396 families from St Andrew will be paid through the financial institution and 5 families from St George. Households should notify the SEED unit of any problems encountered with accessing the SEED grant through the financial institutions.
