The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) informs the general public of the temporary traffic arrangements to facilitate the OECS Under-23 Netball Tournament to be held at the Tanteen Netball Court from Friday, 16 June to Tuesday, 20 June 2017 between the hours of 6 am and 9 pm.
Effective 4 pm, today, Friday 16 June the Tanteen (top) Public Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from Burns Point roundabout to the Tanteen Netball Court, to facilitate the march past of the participating teams.
Immediately thereafter a 1-way traffic system will take effect with vehicles only allowed to travel in a southerly direction from Burns Point roundabout to the Botanical Gardens roundabout.
A 1-way traffic system will remain in effect for the duration of the games for the Tanteen (top) Public Road from 6 am to 9:30 pm from 17 to 20 June 2017.
NO PARKING
- on the left side of the entire Tanteen Public Road towards the direction of the Botanical Gardens.
- on the left side Tanteen Terrace Public Road towards the direction of Banfield’s’ business establishment.
ALLOWED PARKING
- on the right side of the Tanteen Public Road after the main entrance of the Tanteen Netball Court to the Botanical Gardens roundabout.
- on the left side of the entire Tanteen Terrace Public Road towards the direction of the Tanteen Public Road.
NO ENTRY into Tanteen Terrace from its junction with Tanteen Public Road.
NO ACCESS to the Tanteen Netball court from the Botanical Gardens roundabout.
