The deadline to apply to the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative 2017 is 23 April. The US Embassy Bridgetown is looking for entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 and 35 to participate in this programme which gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to travel to the United States to learn best practices and build lasting connections. read more
The US Embassy to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS is pleased to host a travelling program focused on entrepreneurship. The program travelled to Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, and Barbados, and targeted entrepreneurship students at the tertiary level, and young entrepreneurs.
This eloquent son of St Lucia was the 1992 Nobel Prize winner in literature, a lifelong teacher of the power of words, and an inspiration to future generations. He made St Lucia — and the Caribbean as a whole — extremely proud.

Grammy-nominated R&B/jazz singer Carolyn Malachi will be in Grenada on 19 November, performing at 6:30 pm at the St George’s University. The tour is organised by the US Embassy to Barbados, which is also responsible for the Eastern Caribbean. read more
