NTA held orientation session on training in level 1 programmes

The National Training Agency held an Orientation Session today Thursday 31st January 2013 to mark the commencement of four Level 1 training programmes in St. George’s parish under the OECS (Grenada) Skills for Inclusive Growth Project. 

The Orientation was held at the GBSS Auditorium at 2:00 p.m.  For the first time in St. George’s a programme were launched in General Construction.  Also today,  and in the parish of St. Andrew’s another orientation was held for another first time programme.  This programme was the Livestock Rearing and the Orientation exercise which was held at the Mirabeau Farm School – the site for the training.

The other programmes set to start in St. George’s are Data Operations, General Office Administration and General Cosmetology.  All training is at Level 1 Competency and trainees upon completion are expected to graduate with a NVQ certification.
