Legal Affairs Minister Elvin Nimrod has announced that Cabinet has agreed to appoint Cajeton Hood as the new Attorney-General of Grenada.
“We have full confidence in his ability,” said Nimrod when he made the announcement on Monday during the post-cabinet briefing.
Hood is a former Permanent Secretary who was attached to the Office of Prime Minister in the previous administration of Dr Keith Mitchell.
Hood takes over from Nimrod, who was appointed within days of the New National Party winning the 19 February General Elections.
