Television producer Shere-Ann Noel is the new president of the Media Workers Association of Grenada (MWAG), and one of her priorities to make the members of the fraternity work as a unified body despite differing views on issues.
“There is a need for all us to come together for the good of the profession,” said Noel in her acceptance speech. “Yes we will all see thing differently but working together for the good of the profession will only strengthen us as a professional body,” she said.
Noel is anticipating that during her tenure which will conclude in 2015, that media workers will be exposed to more training that will not only encourage personal development but will also reflect positively on the Association. “Whether it’s on ethics or a dress code, whatever will be undertaken should reflect on us positively as a unitified and collective body,” said Noel who is the second female to head the Association.
Noel who is a former treasurer for the Association is heading the new executive committee:

- 2nd Vice President: Mikey Hutchinson, WeeFM
