LIME Paradise Edges Closer to Capture Premier League Title

A raging LIME Paradise edges closer to Premier League Title. After narrowly earning a victory 2–1 in their previous match against CGMBall Dogs at home. The ‘Big Parish’ men journeyed on Saturday to Beausejour and drubbed Fontenoy United 5–1 to go to the top of the Standings.

The message is clear — they yearn for the Championship title. Paradise is now on 38 points and still with a game after fifteen (15) rounds of Matches. The biggest hurdle will be the match against defending champions Clarke’s Court Hard Rock at home and to a lesser extent PetroCaribe QPR. Hard Rock sits only one (1) point behind Paradise on 37 points.

Meanwhile, four (4) teams are still battling relegation. Fontenoy United thirteen (13) points, Eagles Super Strikers, twelve (12) points. Five Stars on ten (10) points and Ball Dogs six (6) points.

In other matches played over the weekend. PetroCaribe QPR defeated Five Stars 5–3 at the Progress Park. Ford Happy Hill earned much needed points and fought hard to win 1–0 away to Eagles Super Strikers. Newim GBSS and Hurricanes played to a 1–1 draw at Tanteen and Hard Rock edged past Ball Dogs 1-0 at Beausejour.

With three (3) rounds of matches remaining the question remains. Who will win the Premier League?

Premier League Results:

  • CGM Ball Dogs 0 vs 1 Clarke’s Court Hard Rock
  • Newim GBSS 1 vs 1 Hurricanes
  • Eagles Super Strikers 0 vs 1 Ford Happy Hill
  • Fontenoy United 1 vs 5 LIME Paradise
  • Five Stars 3 vs 5 Queens Park Rangers
