Four students of the T. A. Marryshow Community College were awarded scholarship assistance from Rubis to assist with their education.
The cheque of EC$5000. will cover their application, registration, and tuition fees along with transportation and book-related costs. The year-one students: Craig Phillip (Business), Keville Charles (Building Trades and Services), Samuel Charles (Information Technology), and Ngozi St. Hillaire (Physical Education) are active members of the TAMCC Cricket team.
The students, along with the other members of the Cricket team have been in training since last September for an upcoming tournament scheduled to begin on 1 February 2014. This invitational 20-over tournament will be hosted by TAMCC at the Roy St. John Playing Field and feature three other teams: Police, Prison Guards and Upsetters.
