The ten selected for six weeks in Guyana, were chosen from the Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, and Electronic Engineering Technology programmes. They will be placed at Banks DIH Limited and Guyana Power and Light, Demerara Distilleries, and the Guyana Sugar Corporation.

This is the fourth year of the internship programme that United Insurance has sponsored insurance coverage for the students. The insurance coverage valued at $36,000 each, covers medical expenses, personal accidents and loss of deposits.

TAMCC expresses its appreciation to Rawle Prescott of the Caricom Secretariat, the Guyana Baptist Convention Centre, the host organisations, United Insurance and other local companies and individuals who contributed in making this experience possible for the students.
