Dominic Paul, Director and Founder of Spice Isle Imaging Center, has died after running into difficulties in rough sea at Artist Bay, La Poterie, St Andrew.
Paul was retrieved from the water and several attempts were made to resuscitate him. He was later rushed to the Princess Alice Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The Spice Isle Imaging Centre lists Mr Paul as Radiologic Technologist, with over 20 years’ experience in Xray, CT, MRI and special procedures. He studied at the New York City College of Technology and Brooklyn College, and worked in various hospitals in New York including Kings County Hospital, Kingsbrook Jewish, Maimonides, New York Eye and Ear and New York Methodist Hospital. In July 2004 he founded Spice Isle Imaging Centre which offers Diagnostic, Laboratory and Microbiology Services.
An autopsy has been scheduled. Police investigation continues.
