The MS Serenissima visits Grenada for the first time, berthing at both St. George’s and Hillsborough on Thursday, 18 December. The 100 passenger cruise ship will berth at Melville Street Cruise Terminal from 7 am to 6 pm.
Additionally, the Serenissima will be Carriacou’s first call for the 2014/2015 cruise season, berthing on Sunday, 21 December, during the island’s annual Parang Festival. The Hillsborough office of the Grenada Tourism Authority plans to welcome the cruise passengers and crew in true Christmas spirit with Parang, string band music, and samples of rum punch and black cake.
The 287-foot vintage vessel attracts international passengers of mixed ages.
The Serenissima will return to St. George’s Sunday afternoon, and depart on Monday, 22 December.
