A vehicular accident on the weekend claimed the life of a 29-year-old student of the St George’s University (SGU).
Aaron Horrell of San Juan, Trinidad, was driving when the vehicle reportedly careened out of control, collided with a wall, then struck a traffic light pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 30-year-old female passenger, also a Trinidadian and student of SGU, is currently hospitalized in stable condition with a fractured left upper arm.
The accident occurred about 1 am (Sunday morning), 26 April 2015, close to the intersection with Radisson Hotel on the Grand Anse public road, St George. At the time of the accident, the vehicle was travelling in a southbound direction.
Police investigations continue.
