The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) will host a 3-county road show in the United Kingdom from 29 June to 2 July, to promote Grenada as a destination of choice. The series of travel trade training, media events, and tour operator meetings will deliver in-depth destination information that will strengthen promotions to potential English visitors

The Grenadian delegation is led by Chief Executive Officer at the GTA, Mr Rudy Grant, and includes Ms Delysia De Coteau, Marketing Executive at the GTA, and representatives from True Blue Bay Resort, Le Phare Bleu Marina & Boutique Hotel, Spice Island Beach Resort, Blue Horizons Garden Resort, Flamboyant Hotel & Villas, Calabash Grenada Hotel & Spa, Mount Cinnamon Grenada Resort, Grenadian by Rex Resorts, and Sandals LaSource Grenada.

“We work closely with our UK office to continuously engage the travel agents, tour operators, journalists, and consumers in the UK and Ireland. We are engaging in this road show to boost arrivals from this source market and update our stakeholders on our destination product offerings and activities,” said Ms De Coteau.

The event for the journalists on the 30 June is expected to be memorable, as they will challenge themselves to create drink cocktails using Grenadian ingredients. The travel trade training sessions are also incentivised with familiarisation trip giveaways to Pure Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean.

The UK brings more than 25,000 visitors to Grenada per year on direct flights from London on British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
