Yesterday, 2Â Grenadian Junior Athletes left the island to compete in the 2015 Panamerican Junior Athletics Championships in Edmonton, Canada.
The championships, which is held biennially, starts on Friday, 31 July, and will continue until Sunday, 2 August.
The 2Â athletes representing Grenada are Anderson Peters and Josh Boateng.
Anderson Peters, who is the national record holder for the men’s javelin, will participate in the men’s javelin on Saturday, 1 August, against 9 other athletes; while Youth Olympian Josh Boateng will compete against 8 other athletes in the junior men’s discus on Friday, 31 July.
