The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) has been advised by the Seismic Research Unit (SRU), University of the West Indies (UWI), Trinidad and Tobago, that there has been increased seismic activity in the region. Several earthquakes have occurred in the region north of Barbados.

Due to increased seismic activities in the region in recent times NaDMA is advising All Marine Interests to strictly observe the Kick em’ Jenny Volcano Exclusion Zone of five (5) kilometres around the summit of the volcano.
