The T A Marryshow Community College will like to extend a warm welcome to its new Financial Officer, Mrs Nerisa Gilkes within the Administration Department from 2 November 2015.

Mrs Gilkes completed her A’ Levels at the TA Marryshow Community College where she earned an Associate Degree in Social Sciences. She further went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Management (Honors) at the St George’s University. Currently she is pursuing her MBA in International Business at the same institution.

Throughout Mrs Nerisa Gilkes’ career path she has always yearned to put her knowledge gained into practice. She previously worked at Allins Andrews Construction where she served as Administrative Clerk and later as Accounts Clerk. In 2010 she joined employment at the Grenada Distillers Ltd where she served in the capacity as Junior Accountant and later Assistant Accountant. Mrs Gilkes stated that working in the construction and manufacturing sectors has contributed immensely to her training and knowledge in accounting processes which she believes would be valuable skills that can be transferred to her current role at TAMCC.

She brings with her a wealth of knowledge skills and abilities that has been acquired through her educational, professional and personal experiences.

She expresses her commitment to serving in her position and intends to extend her qualities, professionalism and knowledge at TAMCC to aid in the advancement of corporate and individual development.

Mrs Gilkes maintains the motto that “Challenges makes life interesting and overcoming them gives more meaning to success.”
