The RGPF Coast Guard Unit was called into action on Sunday, 28 February 2016, after reports were received of a vessel which broke down in the vicinity of Isle le Ronde, with a passenger seeking medical attention.
The Coast Guard unit was immediately dispatched to the northern waters of Grenada, where the troubled vessel was met outside Victoria, St Mark. The female patient was safely removed from the vessel and transported to St George’s.
