Grenada Teams Ready for World Junior Championships and NACAC U23

The Grenada Athletic Association announces the roster of 3 athletes who would be competing at the 16th IAAF U20 (Junior) World Championships. The Championship takes place 19 to 24 July 2016, in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

The World Junior Championships is the highest level of competition for junior athletes for the 2016 athletic season and provides an opportunity for them to compete against the best in their age group.

Josh Boateng GBSS Discuss

The athletes will be accompanied by Paul Phillip as Manager/ Coach. The team departs Grenada for Poland on Saturday, 16 July 2016.

The GAA also announced the team for the 2016 NACAC Under 23 Championship scheduled for El Salvador from 15 to 17 July 2016. The NACAC Under-23 Championships is an under-23 athletics competition held between the member associations of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC).

Team Grenada comprises of the following athletes:

Markim Felix Track Blazers Javelin

Coach Wayne Mc Sween will accompany the athletes as Manager/ Coach. The team departs Grenada on Wednesday, 13 July for El Salvador via Trinidad.
