The Rotaract Club of Grenada Hosts Blood Drive and Health Fair

The Rotaract Club of Grenada will be undertaking another community service activity this Saturday, 15 October 2016. In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Grenada Blood Bank, a Blood Drive and Health Fair will be conducted in front the Esplanade Mall, in the city, commencing from 9:30 am to 3 pm.

Blood Donors and persons, who may be interested in donating blood for the first time, will have an opportunity to do so on Saturday; as representatives from the Grenada Blood Bank will be at hand to lead the charge where this is concerned. In addition, free check-ups will be available from distinguished health professionals.

There will be representation from various organizations including: The Grenada Kidney Foundation, The Cancer Society of Grenada, Mitchell’s Pharmacy and the Fit for Life Health Club.

This project which has a special focus on the heath and well-being of persons in the community is another of many community service projects executed by the Rotaract Club of Grenada. The following activity to be hosted by Rotaract will be a fundraising Barbecue on Saturday, 5 November 2016.
