de Spice Events, organizer of Tri de Spice, Grenada’s largest triathlon event, and local children’s charity reachwithin are gearing up for Run de Spice Marathon and 5K on Saturday, 26 November, 2016 at Morne Rouge, St George, Grenada.

Run de Spice is Grenada’s newest marathon experience. Starting at 4 pm, runners will cover the 42.2 km distance against the backdrop of the setting sun. Once dark, runners will get glow sticks and flashing lights, making this the brightest marathon Grenada has ever seen.

In addition to the marathon, Run de Spice will feature races for everyone, including a Half-marathon, Marathon Relay, 5K, and a one mile fun run. Marc De Caul, Director of de Spice Events, says “whether you are an experienced marathon runner, or have just started your training, we want you to be part of this spectacular event.” Founder of reachwithin, Dr Karen Lawson, is delighted with the new partnership, and says “participants signing up for Run de Spice have a choice of running as an independent or they can register to run for reachwithin to help raise funds for our charity, which supports vulnerable children in Grenada.”
