In approximately 3 months, the residents of St Andrew can expect to see work being done on the Simon (Seamoon) Cultural Centre.
According to Minister Roland Bhola, the people of St Andrew can look forward to having a first-class cultural centre, which will cater for theatrical arts as well dancing and calypso events. He said that this project is dear to his heart, as this is the constituency he represents and he knows the people of St Andrew have been looking forward to this for a long time.
The Minister said the government is actively working with the financers for this reconstruction to commence soon. The project which may cost approximately US$ 4 million, which together with the lighting of the Grenada National Stadium, will be funded by the Canadian Bank Note Company (CBN) which provides the lottery systems and other services to the National Lotteries Authority.
