THE UNITED NATIONS ENTITY FOR GENDER EQUALITY AND THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN
(UN WOMEN)

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Multi-Country Office-Caribbean invites applications from suitably qualified persons to undertake the following Consultancy in Grenada:

Position: Project Coordinator coordinating the implementation of the Grenada pilot of the Caricom model on a prevalence survey on gender-based violence

Duration of Assignment: The consultant will be engaged during the period 2 January 2017 to 31 December 2017. The consultancy will be based in Grenada, specifically at the office of the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

Submissions: Terms of Reference can be found on UNDP Jobs. Submissions should be uploaded to UNDP Jobs no later than close of business 14 October 2016. Submissions must be in 1 document and must include

  1. A cover letter highlighting the specific post for which you are applying
  2. The completed UN Women Personal History form (P-11) which can be downloaded from http://www.unwomen.org/about-us/employment
  3. Detailed curriculum vitae including a description of main achievements.
  4. A detailed price proposal quoted in United States dollars (US$) indicating daily rates and inclusive of any costs to be incurred related to the consultancy e.g. travel costs.

ONLY SUITABLE PROPOSALS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED

Position: Team Leader with Subcontracted Research Team to coordinate the conducting of the Qualitative Component of the Caricom Model of a Prevalence Survey on gender-based violence to support the implementation of the Grenada Pilot. 

Duration of Assignment: The consultant will be engaged for a maximum of 50 working days from 1 February 2017 to 31 May 2017. The consultancy will be based in Grenada.

Submissions: Terms of Reference can be found on UNDP Jobs. Submissions should be uploaded to UNDP Jobs no later than close of business 14 October 2016. Submissions must be in 1 document and must include 

  1. A cover letter highlighting the specific post for which you are applying
  2. The completed UN Women Personal History form (P-11) for each team member. This can be downloaded from http://www.unwomen.org/about-us/employment
  3. Detailed curriculum vitae for the Team Leader and each Research Assistant including a description of main achievements.
  4. A detailed Financial Proposal quoted in United States dollars (USD) which must outline:
    • Overall fees for 50 working of days for the entire team comprising the Team Leader and 2 Research Assistants
    • A breakdown with daily rate of team leader and daily rate of research team and financial components.
    • Any costs to be incurred related to the consultancy. For example, venue rental and logistical arrangements when coordinating the focus groups, interviews etc.
