Wanted man Ernie Anthony Calliste, a 40-year-old Painter/Landscaper of Grand Anse, St George was apprehended at the weekend.
Calliste was charged with Anthony Rougier, a 50-year-old construction worker of Springs, St George for the offence of robbery with violence. They appeared at the St George’s Magistrate Court on Monday, 29 May 2017. Both men were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to reappear in court on 9 June 2017.
Fitzroy St Louis charged with murder
Fitzroy “Jessie” St Louis, 53, of Grand Anse Valley, St George will appear at the St George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 30 May 2017. St Louis was charged with non-capital murder in the weekend death of Marcus Alexander.
Alexander, 33, also of Grand Anse Valley, succumbed to injuries from a stab wound to the chest, following an altercation with the accused sometime after 11 pm in their hometown on Friday, 26 May. An autopsy report stated that he died as a result of cardiac tamponade.
St Patrick Resident Remanded
Teron Moses, 24-year-old of Marli, St Patrick has been remanded to prison following his appearance at the St George’s Magistrate Court on Friday, 26 May 2017 on charges of 2 counts of housebreaking and stealing, 1 count of attempted to commit a crime to wit stealing, and 1 count of praedial larceny. Moses is due to reappear at the Sauteurs Magistrate Court on 1 June 2017.
