10 fine bags containing 26 bales of compressed cannabis were found at Bayaleau Beach, Carriacou on Tuesday, 2 May, 2017.
The discovery was made during a joint operation by officers attached to Carriacou Police Station, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Special Services Unit (SSU), Drug Squad and the Coast Guard Unit. The drugs weighed a total of 385 pounds and has an estimated street value of $873,180. No one was arrested.
