This session was held with those who were unable to attend the session held on 27 September 2017.
The commission has a mandate to execute Public Education Programmes as outlined in Section 12(1) (h) of the Integrity in Public Life Act No 24 of 2013, which provides that the commission shall ‘carry out programmes of public education to foster an understanding of the standard of integrity.’
This seminar was geared towards raising awareness of the commission’s operations with presenters from the commissioners and members of staff of the Integrity Commission. There was a question and answer segment which provided participants with the opportunity to voice concerns or queries thereby fostering a greater understanding of the Integrity Commission’s mandate.
