The Government and People of Grenada are deeply saddened to learn of the plane crash in the Republic of Cuba on 17 May.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of all who lost their lives in this dreadful tragedy, and to the people of Cuba, in general. We know that the days ahead will be very difficult, but rest assured that Grenada stands with you, in solidarity and support.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Cuban friends during this challenging time.
