Aspiring and established writers across Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique will have the opportunity to directly engage a number of local authors on the critical step of getting published.
An open forum will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, 20 October 2018 at the Spices Restaurant (upstairs Deyna’s) Melville Street, St George’s to which all are invited and especially individuals with an interest in the literary field, seeking further information that will assist publishing efforts.
The forum is the brainchild of Cindy McKenzie in collaboration with Wendy Crawford-Daniel and David Ambrose – all Grenadian authors. Cindy McKenzie is the author of Force Ripe. Wendy Crawford-Daniel penned “Unveiling Island Passion” while David Ambrose has authored White Spice and more recently, That Time in Bogles. Several other local authors will also be in attendance and available for one and one engagement.
The objective of the forum is to create a space for informal and multi-dimensional exchange, which benefits both aspiring and established authors – nurturing creativity and growth in addition to encouragement. The inclusion of various authors is intended to provide an opportunity to explore the diverse publishing options available with a view to choosing what works best for the individual author.
There is no cost for the session and ALL are welcome. For more information call: 1 (473) 414 6737; email: [email protected] or visit Force Ripe Fan Club on Facebook.

That is a great suggestion. Seems like we have to pound down some doors to get the message across that out literature deserves a place of importance.
