Reimbursements are now in progress, for teachers who reported to work, but had deductions made to their salary, for the month of November 2018.
The Ministry of Finance released payment to several banks and credit unions, on behalf of these workers on 30 November.
The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development and Religious Affairs will continue to receive information, from any additional persons affected until the matter is completely addressed.
As noted in our prior press release, affected teachers can contact their principal, District Education Officer, or this ministry, from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm to report any inaccurate deductions.
