The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) is deeply saddened by the passing of Grenadian First Officer Ian Dowe of LIAT.
Dowe joined Liat as a Customer Service Representative in 1994 and in 2006 entered the pilot fraternity as a First Officer. He passed away on 7 August 2019.
The Grenada Airports Authority facilitated a water cannon salute of the aircraft (Amerijet) which carried his body.
On behalf of the management and staff of the GAA, we extend our condolences to his family, friends, fellow pilots and colleagues at the Grenada Station in this time of bereavement. May his soul rest in peace.
