Government is giving assurances that all Grenadian students studying in China, particularly those in Wuhan, are currently safe.
This assurance comes amidst growing concern about the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Wuhan, in which hundreds of persons are known to be already affected. Government assures parents, relatives, friends and well-wishers of students in China that it has been in communication with Grenada’s Embassy in the People’s Republic of China as well as the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Grenada.
Government further assures that it will maintain dialogue with both embassies to ensure the continued well-being of the students.

I understand these students do not want to lose the opportunities China has bestowed on them, but as first thought that the virus was not spread through human contact which has proven to be incorrect. Mr. Prime minister please bring these students home. 14 healthcare workers were infected by one individual. What make us think Grenada is ready for this? The Chinese government ads usual always cover up until we have a full blown epidemic. PLEASE TAKE WARNING!!!! WE HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO LOOSE.
A global concern of the spread of a virus can never be of any assurance . Yes there maybe dialogue between the to nations but assurance . They should give these students an choice to return or stay. I would say bring them home until the world health organisation safe its to return to china.
How can this Government in Grenada give any credible assurance are safe ?
This growing virus in China poses at this time Global Concern.
These students should be flown back Immediately. They are in the very City where this virus originated.
If one of these students were the son or daughter of PM Mitchell or Peter David or Nicholas Steele: that would be one safely back in Grenada.
