Canabis like other illicit drugs are destroying peoples’s lives mentally, physically, socially . Especially the younger generation. This addiction is causing great stress to society. E.g, stealing and many other unsocial behaviour. The prison pooulation reflects a high number of inmates who been continously causing distress to the nation.would you like your son or daughter to grow up in a circles where their lives can lead to wasteful destruction They should be encouraged to engage in positive behaviours. .
Canada is now farming cannibals for medical reason, why is it grenada pretends this island is so innocent since the 80s we have been witnessing alcohol abuse drug abuse ,child abuse come on grenada stop hiding behind the truth .I’m sure my ancestors can say the same .legalise cannabis because how I see it you are just punishing people for a herb.and there is more serious crimes going on
Marijuana and alcohol destroys the lives of our young black men. Go to the rum shops of our country and really investigate this. USA still considers THC as schedule 1 substance…DEA…??FDA. The democrats want it to remain on their plantation…see Pelosi…3.3 trillion dollar proposal….Marijuana and alcohol destroys lives
Obviously these smugglers broke the Law of Grenada.
But Grenada is living in the past. Why not Legalise Marijuana just like Canada and many US States already have. Allow local personal use and farmers to grow and Legally export medical Marijuana. A country with a natural resource going to waste while other nations are making a good living selling a herb that have worldwide demand..
Agree with Kesri. Grenada is behind times. So many people are using it illegal and getting charge for small possession and clogging the court system as they operate so slow. Legalize like Canada and some States in the US. In Canada family doctors were allowed to prescribe it to their patients for different ailments even for menopause, for pain etc. Before the government legalize it. You cannot have a certain amount on you though if caught over the limited amount you will be charged because it is considered for trafficking. These men need to be in jail.
In Canada you can plant a certain amount for personal use and smoke on your property but of course not in front of small children and with due respect.
Grenada could do Farming of marijuana with no pesticides, educate the people about the different strains which will create jobs and expert. Grenada will get some revenue for the country instead of building all that hotels depending that industry for revenue and paying our people so little.
Agriculture is a way to invest in and expert. Jamaica expert a lot to north America, even Trinidad.. Come on Grenada! Government don’t spoil our quiet island. Enough hotels destroying our natural environment/habitat.
Let’s educate our people to fix the roads etc. They can go to Cuba to study or the other islands. They don’t need to go to China.
