The Government of Grenada announces an update in the curfew hours for the period Tuesday, 9 June from 7 am and ending at 7 am on Tuesday, 16 June 2020.
Freedom of movement is now allowed between the hours of 5 am to 9 pm daily.
Beach hours are now 5 am to 5 pm.
Businesses that have already been authorised to operate may do so until 7 pm daily.
New establishments permitted to operate as of Tuesday, 9 June are as follows:
- Gyms and Fitness Centres
- Operators licensed under the Gaming Act
- Food Vendors and Restaurants with In-Dining services
These new establishments must adhere to a specific set of reopening protocols, and only after receiving authorisation from the Ministry of Health.
Business owners of the aforementioned must submit a request to the following email address [email protected]. They must also undergo an inspection by health officials to obtain their clearance certificate in order to operate. Other businesses or undertakings may be exempt by an application, in writing, to the Commissioner of Police, acting on the direction of the Cabinet of Grenada.

Now that the government of Grenada Carricacou and Peiti Martinique is relaxing some of the business, beaches and other hospitality sectors opening and closing hours , it is also right to ask as to how will those who wishes to take up this new freedom of movement is able to get from A to B if there only means of travelling is via The Buses which government is currently in dispute with as to That 50 pence increase.
