Solidarity message for our sister PRO

The National Executive Council and the entire membership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) stand firmly in solidarity with our Public Relations Officer (PRO), Sister Claudette Joseph, named as the defendant in a defamation lawsuit brought by Prime Minister Mitchell on Thursday, 30 July 2020.

We find it rather unfortunate that our Prime Minister would choose to waste precious time and money to advance a frivolous and vindictive lawsuit instead of focusing on the socio-economic issues facing the nation at this time, especially those brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. This sinister and vulgar attempt is solely to subdue someone whom he perceives as a formidable political opponent standing against public corruption.

The NDC urges the Prime Minister to cease the vengeful practice that he has promoted for years during his time in public office and to use his position of leadership to unite and to bring our people together during this challenging period. We call upon every reasonable, fair-minded, freedom-loving Grenadian to stand up in solidarity with Sister Claudette Joseph and the NDC.

We must protect our freedom of speech and defend our fundamental rights and liberties.

I am Standing Strong with Ms. Joseph.
    You have excellent defense attorney.

As to Who filed such a lawsuit against you ? It is disturbing and plain foolish.

It takes a little boy or a smaller man to continue to shell it out, like over and over but not able to take it.

I Stand in Solidarity with Ms. Claudette Joseph.

Confident that her Attorney, Mr. Hood will do an excellent job on this case. He is an Attorney of high ethics & integrity.

Let us hope some real public airing of Keith’s tough bully’s dirty laundry does not further polute Grenada’s air. Enough is surely enough. This here absurd legal case is without merit and is now water under the bridge. Keith has done far, much worse to and against people.

Having filed such a case against a lady has surely shocked and surprised many people; as to just how low can anyone stoop for pure hate and vengeance.

Not to shame Grenada in the World Community and to Save Face; this here frivolously motivated case should be withdrawn, just dropped & Ms. Joseph receiving an Apology. She is due one !!

Well, in this one he can’t hide behind the state, as is the case with Gemma Bain and others. So the financial penalties will have to come out of his pocket this time around, when he loses – as he will.

Cajeton Hood and Claudette Joseph going to teach him a lesson.
