The Chinese are not your friends, read up about their business practices in Africa and in particular how they maltreat black people in their own country with the Government not able to interfere because of the large amounts owed to China and handouts (bribes) received.

The actives/aggression of China as been described as modern day colonialism.

Is Jazmine accusing the government of China of stealing $750 worth of rocks from the quarry to construct a EC$2.9 billion development. She and the article from the New Today newspaper is blowing up every little reported incident or unfounded rumours to generate Anti-China hysteria and racism.

Grenada needs investment to develop its economy and create jobs to improve the opportunities for the near 40% of our people who are leaving below the poverty line.

Grenadians do not have the capital needed to invest in the major projects to develop our country, and sadly our people have not had the motivation to become involved in our own development since the spirit of self-reliance that existed during the revolution.
Our government needs to obtain capital and external investment to build infrastructure and sustainable construction projects to provide well paid jobs and services for our people. I agree with Desmond, we need to hold our elected government accountable If we have cause to believe that certain projects are not sustainable or the government is not acting in our best interests.
We should not make malicious and unfounded accusations against a whole race of people. The Chinese people have worked hard to achieve unprecedented development and improvement of their society without exploiting any other country. China, unlike the US and Europe has no record of interfering in the internal affairs of any country neither does it bomb, blockade or sanction other countries as others have noted.
We need to cease this dangerous xenophobia and treat other countries with mutual respect.

The battle for Mt. Hartman is critical I tell you. The Chinese are not to be trusted, period. The will do as they please, steal from the quarry, for their resort. Turn the quarry into an entrance for their resort. Hear me now or be very sad later, the Chinese are coming for Grenada, not just part, but all. Little by little, year by year, just watch. And if you think Grenada government officials are not taking money for their own. pockets from these people you are wrong. Chinese people steal tonnes of boulders from the quarry, police respond, then all of a sudden they say it all settled we going away. Right, we going away with money in pocket.

I urge you all to read this article from The New Today:

We don’t need only jobs, we need to be equal partners in this project, nothing less. After all, the most valuable component of this project, the land, belong to us.
