The Fisheries Division of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts, Fisheries and Cooperatives advises seafarers and the general public to exercise extreme caution in and around the waters of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
In recent days, there has been an increase in sightings of sharks in the marine environment of neighbouring Eastern Caribbean islands.
The public is encouraged to be vigilant when venturing out to sea.
Fishermen and the general public are also advised to report all sightings of sharks to the Fisheries Division and the Coast Guard.
Further, if a shark is sighted, persons should immediately leave the water.
GISÂ
Dominica’s Fisheries Division put something out..nothing from Grenada..please don’t kill sharks if not for eating…the are needed for balance in a healthy underwater eco system
Not for EATING. They have been proven to be essential in having healthy reefs. Why this push about sharks when the woman bitten was far north. Has nothing to do with Grenada. Leave them along.

WHAT neighbouring Islands??? Be specific this looks like fake news with no details provided.
Who is putting out this and why? What is the justification? Let’s see some proof of this being a legitimate situation.
