OAS
Why is the country of Chile supporting and pushing an American touism course? Why do you believe the USA is the gold standard for customer service in Tourism? Why are you using American attitudes, why doesn’t Caricom have their own culturally sensitive program, that is culturally sensitive to the island’s culture NOT the USA? You keep homogenizing the Caribbean culture and experience to some awful mashed up thing that doesn’t represent a true Caribbean experience or attitude. We don’t travel to the Caribbean to meet more ” americanized” destinations. We travel to foreign lands to get away from the American way of doing things. You can still have your own standards, stop believing that American ones are the ones to strive for. Manners, knowledge, passion, these are qualities the Caribbean already has. Answering 30 multiple choice questions the way Americans want you to doesn’t make you a better tourism employee. Good training a proper education, and a good attitude more important.
Need this
What for? I bet you already know the answers. It is common sense or just another way to make Grenadians more American.
