Roderick St Clair, Senator for Agriculture and Fisheries, has organised a consultation of Livestock and Poultry Farmers at the Deluxe Cinema, Grenville, St Andrew on Thursday 8 April 2021, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

As the senator continues his role representing his constituents, following up on the February consultation he held with the Fisherfolks, he now moves on to consulting with the Livestock and Poultry Farmers. This opportunity is to address key subsector issues, improve support and coordination to Livestock and Poultry Farmers, and receive contributions, feedback, and suggestions for innovative solutions. This will allow Senator St Clair to better represent the sub-sector inside and outside of parliament.

The senator looks forward to a good turnout from the members of the Livestock and Poultry sub-sector. By participating in this consultation, their contributions can be used to advise on programming strategies critical to Grenada’s food security. Their voices can become part of this country’s governance for the betterment of their businesses.

Livestock and Poultry Farmers consultation

In the coming months, the senator will hold consultations with Beekeeping, Floriculture, Fruits and Vegetables Farmers, and Agro-processors.
