Strict adherence to protocols is the most and cheapest way out. Just as you cannot spend your way out of a recession you cannot vaccinate your way of what is now becoming an epidemic. This virulent virus ever-mutating can be only banished back into the wild by breaking the cycle of infection. Those who high risk need to be vaccinated urgently.

Covid does not have legs and humans are the silly vectors who refuse to wear proper mask, properly, operate hygienically and social distance constantly.

Keep away from crowds and stop visitors to your home as well as put out householders who are not adhering to protocols.

These figures are telling for a country that insisted on only vaccinated visitors. Compare to Barbados. I am unvaccinated and was last in Grenada in 2019. Missing Grenada. The conventional responses wholeheartedly adopted from abroad coupled with a 24 hour news cycle creates Covid fatigue and unnecessary hysteria!

This forum loses it’s significance. We all keep on repeating ourself. Vaccine might not be the answer to all our prays but it is the best weapon we have. So…. lets get the vaccine and convince our fellow countymen and women to do the same.

Is crazy people that dumb it down, and they everywhere like mosquitoes. Covid virus mash up my neighbour, put him in the hospital and to this day he tell everybody he never had it. Some people can’t be helped. Whoever choose no vaccine, good luck. Whoever spread quackery, sorry for the poor souls around you

The big picture is missing here. People are being tested for the COVID yes. What if they are positive then what? You left home already Positive!!! How did you get to the testing site by walking or public transportation? Guess what you probably infected persons at home and whomever along the way. You’re told to go home and quarantine to your family in a confined home of 3-6 persons living there with only 1or 2 bedrooms think about what’s happening here. It’s not only the Jab that’s causing the Spread it’s in the communities where you leave. Also Vaccination is a personal choice….

Yes you are right about people testing positive becoming or already are spreaders, I do not know the answer to this. When they test positive they should also get vaccinated.
I think all frontline workers & everyone who has to interface with the public as part of their job should be compulsory vaccinated. People who won’t get vaccinated should just stay at home, keep out of public places & stop spreading the virus if they knowingly or unknowingly have it.

In the space of 4 weeks Grenada has seen the death rate moved from only one covid related to 120 as of the 26th of September.
Now please keep an eye on the imported related cases which is going down in spite of all the borders being open.
We have to ask the question, why the sudden increase ?

The import related numbers are going down because most visitors are coming from countries where the prevalence of the disease is now less due to higher vaccination rates.

The sudden increase in deaths from Covid is directly linked to the massive rise in active local cases since the Jab Jabs mid August. Imported cases are barely changing, apart from returning Grenadians all visitors are fully vaccinated hence the very low numbers despite the fact that every single one is tested, unlike the local population who are largely untested & unvaccinated & are still spreading it.

Why, you ask? …well, the simple answer is …Jab-Jab. So we played Jab-Jab without taking the Jab so now we paying the price.

basically agree but unfortunately, most of those that died never played jab nor went to house parties, they were just innocent victims.

vaccination gives everyone a fighting chance against this terrible disease, so do it today
