A 72-year-old woman from St Patrick has become Grenada’s 4th Covid-19 victim.
The woman, who suffered from pre-existing conditions, was admitted to the General Hospital in St George’s in critical condition on 28 August 2021.
She is now the 4th person to die of Covid-19 this week. The 1st person, a male, died in January.
The Ministry of Health, and by extension the Government of Grenada extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and continue to encourage the population to follow the recommended Covid-19 protocols to safeguard themselves.

Really ? If so Grenada should shame from zero to this..
It appears to now become a money making propaganda to me,
The love of money is the root of all evil.
Before you force the vaccine on people tell them the truth about the vaccine , the side effects found and each will respond differently, then let them decide themselves after ..
Tell the people the truth let them
make their own minds up after the truth..
Corona virus will never done because it’s now about money making.
The LOVE of money is the root of all evil .
I wish the people of Grenada all the best. Covid 19 is a horrible disease, it’s no joke. A lot of you believe that it is. Please take the vaccine. Please don’t listen to the rubbish people tell you nor what you read on social media. You don’t want to die and leave your children behind. You know the situation of the Health Service in Grenada. Please think logically.
Hudson George, it’s actually a known fact that kids and youngsters are superspreaders hence why they have started to vaccinate the 15 to 18 year olds. The schools suffered immensely as they had to send kids home who had symptoms and some eventually got Covid . They were told not to have jabjab but ignored Government advice fools! The only way out to save lives is the vaccine, and the country needs everyone to be vaccinated. I wish them good luck one of our medical professionals said on the TV if you are not vaccinated Covid will find you so carry on being ignorant!
Why don’t you all offer incentives for people to get vaccinated?
I am no fan of keith. We should never be where we are now.. They didn’t listen, played jab jab and had their parties. They still know it all blaming non isolation of foreign visitors.. they talk too much.. same people are using their platforms … telling the government what they should do and still talking nonsense. I hope they are regretting that people are dying because of they didnot care enough to listen.. Now people stop listening to their nonsense stay home and stay safe.
Well Sisters and Brothers, you had your Jab Jab fun. You jump-up and rub-up on each other in the good name of culture. But now is the time to follow the COVID protocols, get vaccinated and listen to the medical experts. We need to come together to fight COVID and misinformation.
Unfortunately it’s going to get worse as the majority haven’t taken the vaccine
Right grenadians you just listen to your prime minister listen to what he tells you he talks a lot of sense and he’s doing it for you you all of you you needs a back in help your country help yourselves get the vaccine do the right thing your prime minister thinks of you all he wants to keep you safe if but you have to do your part take the advice do the right thing be safe if get the vaccine and he will come out of this with flying colours I beg you all do not what like this up you not like want to be by the rest of the world with deaths thousands of deaths so take heed take the advice from your prime minister god bless you all
Look at this 5 now now 5 deaths how many more or you want to have to the people who has not had the vaccine go and get it it because it’s going to save your lives Mark my words is going to be a lot more deaths and it’s all all your fault the people who did carnival jab jab I hope you’re all proud of yourselves now you’re going to your first wave just like us in the UK year ago now you’re going to have it lot more I feel so for the families the persons who have died but it’s the people who gave the virus to these people should be ashamed of yourselves do yourself a favour go and get the vaccine save your lives and all your loved ones just get it into your thick skulls this virus is deadly good luck to you all
Ja stop with the blame game and insuferable nagging.
How do you know those young people spread SarsCov2?.
Young people in Grenada need to live their lives as much as those yiubg people in England and America where Football, Baseball, MMA, Music Festivals, Shows and Entertainment Parks, etc etc, are all taking place right now.
Are you brow beating any young people in UK where although 80% (apparently) have been mRNA injected….yet just yesterday day alone the UK had 142,000 cases and 120 deaths. But you dont dare nag the British youth who would tell you to go forth a multiply yourself, yet you routinely nag and blame Grenadian youth. I can only imagine what its like to live with you.
SarsCov2 is Endemic, it will be here this year and the next into the future until the Human Immune System finally evolve to make SarsCov2, irrelevant jyst like all the millions of other Viruses we live with inside and surrounding us, that rarely are a threat to us.
Its called life.
Not sealing yourself away in a glass jar or prison without bars, because you are scared of living.
From what we all know, even if everyone were mRNA injected they would be still be able to get infected with SarsCov2.
Worse new mRNA Viures are also evolving due to the very mass mRNA injections, ADE, etc, creating a whole new problem for everyone.
Who do the uninjected blame when they get infected by the mRNA double and triple injected?
Its pointless.
Whats important, again from the real world data, is boosting natural Immunity and killing the SarsCov2 Virus head on.
We already have the means to do both if only Politicians care to listen to the poeple abd not an elite. But they keep doing the same failed policies over and over and expecting a different result.
Accusation without facts is baseless. COVID-19 is an imported disease. It enters Grenada through the airpors and seaports in the south of the island.
