The Inland Revenue Division of the Ministry of Finance is offering taxpayers another opportunity to utilise its online services.
Taxpayers who own property can now receive their property tax bills or demand notices online via a new portal. Tax.gov.gd forms part of the IRD’s paperless initiative to reduce the use of paper in its daily operations.
To make their payments, taxpayers can view and/or download demand notices of the properties listed in their name or properties that they manage. Taxpayers are required to register with their email address or mobile number to ensure they receive their 2022 property tax notice in a timely manner.
Here are some simple steps to receive property tax bills/demand notices online via https://tax.gov.gd/.
- Step 1: Enter your email address or mobile number.
- Step 2: Enter the verification code received on your email or by text message
- Step 3: For additional security, validate your phone number or email address (Optional)
- Step 4: To locate your property, link one or more tax numbers to your account, by selecting any of the applicable options.
