The T A Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) received a donation of 5 laptops from FLOW Grenada. The laptops were donated to the faculty of TAMCC to facilitate virtual instruction.
Marketing and Communications Executive from FLOW Grenada, Jelani Glean, said the donation signifies a strong partnership between FLOW and TAMCC and is an opportunity to invest in youth and education during FLOW’s mission week. He said, “We are hoping that those laptops will be used by the teachers of the T A Marryshow Community College to continue the great work that they have been doing, to continue educating our youth. In a time like now, when internet and device connectivity is so important, we are more than happy to present this to you.”
Principal of TAMCC, Dr Ronald Brunton thanked FLOW Grenada for the donation and spoke on the impact the donation will have on online instruction. “This is a wonderful gesture that is meant to facilitate teaching and learning at the TA Marryshow Community College. Our students and our faculty deeply appreciate this gesture. During the pandemic much of our learning was done online and, of course, the devices will be used by our faculty to deliver the curriculum.”
The laptops will be handed over to members of the faculty to ensure optimum connectivity which will greatly benefit the students of TAMCC.
