Grenlec apologises to customers who were affected by brief outages that occurred during the day on Sunday, 14 November 2021.
These outages ranged from 5 – 15 minutes in duration.
Two of the events were caused by a generator tripping at our Queen’s Park Power Plant, which resulted in several areas losing power. Other customers were impacted by an unplanned outage during some line repairs.
As we do with all such occurrences, our team is reviewing the outage events with a view to avoiding any repetition.
