Grenada expressly condemns Russia’s assault on the people of Ukraine which is contrary to the provisions of international peace and stability enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.
Grenada, therefore, calls for an immediate end to the hostilities. The long history of diplomatic engagement among countries provides adequate tools for the settlement of disputes, without having to resort to violence which hurts the very people who give leaders legitimacy in office.
We, therefore, encourage diplomatic engagement to deescalate existing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
Grenada reaffirms its commitment to the United Nations’ principles of respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, and believes that universal respect and adherence to these norms and principles of international law are fundamental to the maintenance of the international system and global peace and security.

Hi Inna: I truly empathize with the sentiments that you have so eloquently expressed. However, for want a better way of analyzing the situation, my heartfelt response is this adaptation or paraphrase of the American poet, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s work: I HAVE NO MORE TEARS TO CRY. “I know that I should be crying for the people of Ukraine. But for the umpteenth time in years the tears will no longer stream down my face. It seems that I am no longer able to care about artillery fire, rumbling tanks, military jets loaded with missiles, vacuum bombs, and all of the other kinds of weapons of mass destruction unleashed on each other by Russian and Ukrainian fighting men. I want to care about the thousands of hungry and tired Ukrainians seeking shelter in the subway stations, and walking for hours in the freezing cold to Poland and other countries with the hope of avoiding the impending perils of modern warfare. I have felt the urge to cry for the babies, mothers, and old women who might never see their fathers, husbands, and sons again once the carnage comes to an end. But the tears will no longer stream down my face. For I have cried too many times before. I have cried for the people of the city of Jericho who were innocent victims of one of the earliest genocides recorded in history. I have cried for the tens of millions Africans who had been stripped of their humanity during the 400 years of the enslavement industry. I have cried many times for the people of Gaza whose primary means of resistance is sling shots and burning tires in their resistance against occupation by an unmatched super power armed with guided missiles. I have cried for the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki who were knowingly and collectively annihilated by nuclear weapons. I have cried so many times before. But the tears will no longer come. “Long ago,” I said, “long ago, there was something in me, but now that thing is gone. Now that thing is gone. That thing is gone. I cannot cry. I cannot care. That thing called tears will come back no more.”

Good morning everyone
I live in Grenada, I was born in Ukraine . At the moment, civilians ..children, women in Ukraine are dying….. half of my family is now under rocket fire…
If you are really against the war in Eastern Europe, please ask #NATO to protect the sky of Ukraine, post it on social media, do not be silent
#Ukrainians ask #NATO to bring their forces to #Ukraine !
At least to close the sky. To give shelter from the sky
The countries of all of the world must stop the aggressor.
We must understand that the aggressor country Russia by attacking Ukraine, opened a war against the basic democratic values of the entire modern world.
It is important for everyone to be with Ukraine

They invited Russians into Grenada in 2019 and 2020 to make a film about Grenada to encourage Russians to bring their dirty money, and dirty politics to Grenada and the Grenadian government sponsored the whole thing. You don’t need Russian corruption onto of what already exists.
Grenadian government sucking up to both China and Russia who are doing their own kind of
” COLONIZATION”. wakeup and vote that snake out of office.
Really? Isn’t it same Grenada with Russian ties through Oleg Firer and the “Grenadian” consulate office in said Russia? Now they claiming solidarity to Ukraine? Politics is a hell of a thing…. wouldn’t even advise my enemy to get involved in politics…. smh
Politicians, for the most cannot be trusted… I can think of a couple examples in Grenada.
